Salar de Uyuni

Crossing one of the largest salt lakes in the world (12,000 square kilometers) at an elevation of 3650m is possibly the most surreal and amazing experience to be found. The landscape is extraordinarily beautiful, a blinding white of the desert surrounded by extinct volcanoes and stunning red and emerald lakes. Incahuasi Island (often referred to by the wrong name Fisherman's Island), located in the center of Salt Lake is home to hundreds of giant cactus captured in the picturesque rocky landscape that contrasts with the salt. There are many opportunities to see wildlife in their natural habitat Andes, including the very elegant and rare James flamingos. Adding the steaming geysers, boiling mud pots and the opportunity to experience the cozy feel of hot springs in the desert in a comfortable 30 °C

Salar de Uyuni - Laguna Color

Day 1: Uyuni - Incahuasi Island - Salt Hotel
Departure at 10:30 am. On the way visit Colchani where salt is extracted, then visit the island of Incahuasi for a short walk for lunch. From there we headed to the Hotel des salt for the night, a hostel basic type double, and dormitories for 6-7 people with shared bathroom, no shower.

Day 2: Salt Hotel - National Park - Red Lagoon
The game takes place at 7:30 am. Also visit the highland lakes there Siloli desert see the famous stone tree. We enter the national reserve to visit the Laguna Colorada and see the flamingos. Overnight in a basic shelter with dormitories for 6-7 people with shared bathroom.Showers are an additional cost of Bs.5.

Day 3: Laguna Colorada, geysers, fumaroles, Laguna Verde, Uyuni
Leave at 5:00 am. To visit the geysers and to take a dip in the hot springs and fumaroles. Then visit the Laguna Verde where we will observe the flamingos, is also the way the Laguna Blanca and the Valley of the rocks and then finish our tour at 18.00 with the return to Uyuni.

Note: For those wishing to go to San Pedro de Atacama, the transfer just after the end of the visit to the Laguna Verde and arrived in San Pedro de Atacama in the early afternoon. There is the option to do a private tour with private rooms with private bath, which increases the cost of the tour.
